Crafting Opportunities, Spreading Joy

Hands & Hearts Shop is a heartwarming initiative founded by Darrini Ashanuja Nair, a radiant soul with Down syndrome, and inspired by her cousin, Pranav Aryan Nair’s altruistic spirit. It aims to create employment opportunities and a sense of purpose for individuals with special needs, like Darrini, by crafting handmade corporate gifts.

What We Do

The genesis of this remarkable initiative traces back to her 15-year-old cousin, Pranav Aryan Nair, whose altruistic spirit sparked the idea during a heartfelt fundraising project in 2023.

Through the sale of homemade soap, he raised over RM2000, channelling the funds towards a foundation dedicated to providing free education to underprivileged children in Kuala Selangor.

Under the guidance of a team of professional trainers and qualified Industrial Psychologists in Malaysia, the shop runs living skills programs in carpentry, plumbing, sewing, as well as short courses in soap making, candle making, and crafts.

We Give Back 30%

What sets Darrini apart is her unwavering commitment to giving back. A remarkable 30% of her income is pledged towards supporting Persatuan Kanak Kanak Khas (PKKK) in Sungai Petani, a school dedicated to educating children with special needs, much like herself.
